I took this picture when visiting my Dad’s home town of Sanford. It’s one of those tiny (population 800?) farming towns where it feels like every second person you meet is related to you somehow. It was a good trip and a completely different world from where I grew up in Canada. Plus, as you can see from this picture, quite beautiful in its barren openness.
